Re: License Transfer

Yes, you can transfer licenses between machines. You do this by opening TorrentRover on the *new* computer and going to Tools -> Manage Subscription -> Recover Subscription. Follow the prompts and you should get an email to verify that you are the owner of the license and wish to complete the ...

Re: 1.3.4 Install

This seems to be due to how the installer works and the fact that the latest version isn't signed with any code signing certificate. It used to be, but I can't find a cheap one anymore. Anyways, the installer has 2 parts, setup.exe and TorrentRoverSetup.msi, and these 2 files are packed together ...

Re: TorrentRover Stuck at "Loading" on Startup.

The directory that can get messed up and need recreated is %localappdata%\TorrentRover

Is it sitting on Loading or is TorrentRover closing itself after a minute or so?

Re: Tweets not registered

Did you enter the tweet through the popup window in TorrentRover? Did you wait for TorrentRover to confirm the tweet? Or did you close the window early?

Re: Are the torrent sites up?

Italy ISPs may block torrent sites. I'm not sure, but it's possible. Check Preferences -> Filtering, and make sure you don't have anything filtering the results out. I am going to release a new version of TorrentRover today if I can, that would show all filtered results. Also, a future version will ...

Re: TorrentRover showing no search results

I'm glad it's working for you. Please be aware that the sites you can select in Preferences do NOT affect Rovers that have already been created. Each Rover has its own stored Search Sites which can be changed.

Re: TorrentRover showing no search results

When you enter a search, it should appear in the Rovers list, the list of things you're looking for in the top half of the main UI. If you double click the Rover, you'll get an Edit Rover window. Make sure you have selected multiple search engines on the right wise. Click OK. If that didn't work ...

Re: Drop down doesn't populate with episodes

This form (the Add New Rover form) is for creating a new Rover. The Rover can contain multiple searches, one for each episode of a TV show for instance. Based on your image, it looks like you're trying to find a show called "Ballers" and the search will be "Ballers S04E01". The formats add extra ...

Re: Exact search and other

The free version has always hidden the link to the torrent site. If we didn't, all downloads would essentially be free with one extra click. You may have been in Pro Trial mode when you last used the feature. If you want exact matching, there are options in the Filtering tab of the Preferences in ...

Re: TorrentRover Won't Download .torrent files

Yes, the torrent world is moving away from torrent files. Are you trying to switch off of Shareaza to uTorrent? Inside the General tab of the uTorrent Preferences, you should find a button that says "Associate with torrent files". I know it doesn't say it, but I believe this will associate uTorrent ...
