TR has been working fine for me for a long time, but just today when I search I get no results. I'm running Mcafee and peerblock but even with fireall turned off and peerblock disabled TR still returns no results for anything I search for?

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'll do my best to solve your problem.

Can you provide...

1. a sample search that returns no results (make sure it's a search that is broad enough that it's a safe bet there should be results)
2. the list of search sites you're using for your search (in advanced view (View -> Advanced View) you can, you can hover your mouse over the sites column on your search to see the list of search sites)
3. your proxy setting in Preferences -> Advanced -> Proxy
4. your geographic location (what country/state do you live in?)

I have a feeling the issue is that your country is blocking access to common torrent sites and you'll need to change your Proxy option, but if you answer the questions above, I'll be able to able to figure out what's going on.

I'm glad that helped you. I thought that might be the issue.

I need to add something to TR to run a test search with and without the proxy when no results are found. If it can detect results with the proxy and no results without it, I can alert the user to change their proxy settings or maybe even change it for them automatically.
