Re: Search by uploader
We could probably do something along those lines. There are a couple of different ways this could work though. TorrentRover would allow you to keep a list of your favorite uploaders. TorrentRover would allow you to pick one or more uploader(s) from your list (and add/edit/remove entries if you want)...

Re: Clicking preferences closes program
WPFToolkit is actually a different dll than Xceed.Wpf.Toolkit. Both are needed. Anyways, starting in version 0.23.0, we're embedding those dlls inside the application itself. Now there should be no way to get this error. Thank you for reporting this issue! We appreciate your help so we can fix Torre...

Re: False Positives?
Thank you SO much for the donation. You're the first in over a month now! Anyways, version 0.23.0 is out now, and it fixes this problem in code. If the Rover is a Weekly or Daily Rover, and if there are no matching search terms other than the season/episode code, the result is removed. This prevents...

Re: no seed downloading through rover
ThePirateBay is back up but their torrent server (piratebaytorrents.info) isn't back online yet. BitSnoop actually works on 4 different mirrors. They are all supposed to have copies of all the torrents but they don't. We're working on magnet support for thePirateBay, and we're working on supporting ...

Re: Clicking preferences closes program
Portable or not, there should be a file in the same directory as the TorrentRover.exe file called Xceed.Wpf.Toolkit.dll. If it's not in there, it can't render the controls in the Preferences window. What antivirus app(s) do you run? I'll verify the portable version has the file when unzipped. I'm wo...

Re: rover not searching?
It's possible you were having this problem because the server wasn't responding. We did have a server outage a few weeks ago. I'm not sure exactly when you were experiencing the issue. Is the "write to disk" error in TorrentRover or uTorrent? As long as the torrent file downloads and opens into your...

Re: Clicking preferences closes program
I'm sorry about that. I missed have overlooked something fairly major for that to be happening. Can you confirm 2 things for me? 1. How does it shutdown? Does it shut down gracefully? Do you see a "Shutting Down" window or does it just crash and burn? 2. Does this occur immediately after opening Pre...

Re: Pirate Bay Is Back
I'm sorry you're having a problem, but I'm not exactly sure what your problem is. There is no punctuation in your message, so it's hard to understand exactly what you're saying. ThePirateBay is back up, but the download site (piratebaytorrents.info) doesn't appear to be back up yet, so you can't dow...

Re: rover not searching?
It's certainly possible that there are no results for your search.
What are you searching for? What sites are you searching with?

Re: RSS Support
Thank you for the suggestion. It's a nice idea, but I'm not sure it fits well with the overall purpose behind TorrentRover. Let me explain... Part of the reason I wrote TorrentRover in the first place was because of unreliable torrent RSS feeds. I was tired of feeds stopping, missing episodes, or ju...
