Re: LAST UNDATE. CAN'T GET ON OR UNINSTALL
I'm not sure why this happened, but hopefully I can help you. Did you try restarting the computer? Sometimes files get locked by the operating system, and the only way to free them again is to restart. A handy tool for checking if a file is locked is "LockHunter". I used it. I assume by your descrip...

Re: Install failure
What version of Windows do you have? What version of TorrentRover did you download? Where did you download TorrentRover from? The installed version of TorrentRover (the normal version), should have a screen that looks like this: Installed Location.png And the portable version of TorrentRover should ...

Re: Clicking preferences closes program
That's good news!
Maybe I'll add some code to automatically delete the Preferences file if a crash is imminent for future versions.
Thank you for the post!
P.S. Wings3D??

Re: Comments Failed??
Ok, I updated a few search sites. Just update your definitions, and you should be good. If the option to update the definitions is missing, just Check for App Updates, and it'll update the definitions too.

Re: Comments Failed??
I'll update the definitions today. Some sites don't support comments. I'll make sure the ones that do are working though.

Re: Torrent filled with malware
I used to run a little computer shop called Happy Computer Repair, and I've used all those programs. I still use Avast Antivirus and MalwareBytes. I run AdAware every once in awhile. And I run CCleaner anytime my machine seems slow. Good stuff.

Re: the working version for windows Xp sp2
Make sure you have installed .NET 3.5 SP1 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22 And you may need Installer 4.5 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8483 And then TorrentRover should work just fine on XP. Let me know if you are still having trouble. I can set...

Re: Torrent filled with malware
I'm glad it got caught. I'm sorry it didn't get caught in time to help you any. I could add the ability for TorrentRover users to flag torrents within TorrentRover, but in order to use that info, all queries would have to go to our servers. We just don't have that kind of load capacity. And this wou...
