Chrome has nothing to do with TorrentRover sharing rewards. Chrome is a web browser that can be set to open for use with the TorrentRover Plugins.
The WebBrowser control that you get when you attempt a sharing reward is, and has always been, based on Internet Explorer, and it cannot be changed.

Re: TorrentRover Won't Download .torrent files
So you did get it worked out then? Was it a uTorrent issue? I'm glad you got it working.

Re: TorrentRover Won't Download .torrent files
First off, let me clear up a common misconception. TorrentRover is a search a download tool for torrent files, but it's not a full torrent client. In other words, you still need a torrent client (e.g. uTorrent) to download the torrent contents. TorrentRover helps you find what you're looking for. Se...

Re: Recover Subscription Missing
If you see "Cancel Subscription", that means the current PC is already associated with a Subscription. Do you see "Pro" or "Reward" in the TorrentRover title bar?

Re: How to disable prompt "open last closed TR file?"
There is in option in Preferences on the General tab called "Auto Open File Action" near the bottom. Just set that to "Last closed" to open the file without asking or "Empty" to start fresh each time.

Re: Cannot install
Windows 10 doesn't support .NET 3.5 by default, but it's in Programs and Features and you can just enable it. Click Start and type "Turn Windows features on or off". This will find what you need. Then just select .NET Framework 3.5 and click ok. Now you should be able to use TorrentRover.

Re: How to search for pattern1 AND pattern2 ?
Good news! TorrentRover has a feature to search like you want.
Open Tools -> Preferences -> Filtering (tab) -> Content Filtering and select the option "Remove results that don't match all search terms". Keep in mind that this is a global setting, so all searches will follow this rule.

Re: !ut File Extension
The .!ut extension is the extension uTorrent uses when the file isn't complete yet. If you're not sure if it's complete or not, right click on the torrent and select "Force Re-Check". If you're sure it's finished, just rename the file (F2) and remove the ".!ut" from the end. Then the file should be ...

Re: How do I switch from uTorrent to BitTorrent
That has little to do with TorrentRover. That is based on the number of Seeders and Leechers seen by the Trackers on the torrent (or magnet link). By default, TorrentRover sorts the torrent results by Seeders, so if you download the result with the most seeders, you should have the most possible use...

Re: How do I switch from uTorrent to BitTorrent
Can you verify that both the Magnet and .torrent classes point to the Bittorrent app and not the uTorrent app?
