Re: Torrentrover can't retrieve connection information
To be totally honest, I can't see why this would work, but it often does. Give it a try. There's really nothing to lose... 1. Open ""%localappdata%\TorrentRover" 2. Open the TorrentRover.exe_Url_....... folder Before the next step, if you would be so kind, send me the user.config file inside the fol...

Re: Torrentrover can't retrieve connection information
I'm really sorry you're having trouble. I'll do my best to fix it for you.
Unfortunately, this issue is something I'd need more information to investigate. Would it be possible for you to give me a call? What time zone are you in? What time would work best for you?

Re: Save search result as CSV file
So you are wanting to be able to export a csv list of torrent results from a single search? So you can share this with your friends and such? I'm sure that's possible, but currently, the download links are not part of the torrent result. The torrent result URL is present though. That would be output...

Re: Save search result as CSV file
I love adding new features! I'd be happy to do it! Out of curiosity, why would you want the TorrentRover (xml) file in csv format? Do you have some slickness in mind? If so, I might want to do the same thing! 8-) Also, how do you expect the file to be formatted? Usually a csv file represents data in...

Re: TR not returning any results?!
I'm glad that helped you. I thought that might be the issue. I need to add something to TR to run a test search with and without the proxy when no results are found. If it can detect results with the proxy and no results without it, I can alert the user to change their proxy settings or maybe even c...

Re: TR not returning any results?!
I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'll do my best to solve your problem. Can you provide... 1. a sample search that returns no results (make sure it's a search that is broad enough that it's a safe bet there should be results) 2. the list of search sites you're using for your search (in advanced view...

Re: Download Complete - but not in folder
I'm sorry for the late reply and that you're having trouble. It's likely that you're downloading from thePirateBay, which doesn't actually supply torrent files anymore. You're getting a magnet link, which means the torrent info should get loaded in your default client. If the results that are missin...

Re: torrentrover not starting up
Huh. That's strange. The line should look like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\TorrentRover\TorrentRover.exe" -d or this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\TorrentRover\TorrentRover.exe" --debug 2 dashes on that one... You only need quotes around the path part, not the -d or --debug part. I'm glad it's working ...

Re: torrentrover not starting up
You added the -d argument after the file name and you never saw the message? That's weird. You definitely should have seem the message if you added that to the shortcut target and then ran from the shortcut.
You can also add " --debug" (without the quotes) and get the same result.

Re: torrentrover not starting up
I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'll try to help you out. 1. Create a shortcut to TorrentRover.exe. 2. Right click on the shortcut and go to properties. 3. Change the Target to this (add the " -d" at the end): "C:\Program Files (x86)\TorrentRover\TorrentRover.exe" -d TorrentRover shortcut.png 4. Cl...
