Re: adding a search engine
Yes, in theory, TorrentRover can use private trackers. It has the ability to store the information for login credentials. The challenge will be to make sure we can do a passive login to get into the site (e.g. http://username:password@demonoid.me/...). Otherwise it'll take a lot of new code to imple...

Re: error
I believe the problem is fixed. It was a problem with the isohunt definition.
Just click on Help -> Check for Definition Updates and then try again.
Let me know if the problem is fixed. And thanks for reporting the problem again!

I love that show! One of my favorites.

Re: File type
The filter will let you choose between Music, Movies, Pictures, etc, but it won't let you filter by file type. May I suggest VLC Media Player... It can play pretty much any file type. And if you want something that can stream your files to your TV or wifi connected devices, check out Plex Media Serv...

Re: error
Haha! It's not a problem. I'm glad you're interested in TorrentRover, and I'm happy to figure out what's going on so I can help you out. I think I need a bit more info from you on this one though. What version of TR are you running? Open TR to the main window. Press F12. What's the number at the ver...

Re: Color Scheme
Sorry about the confusing color scheme. The colors refer to the "timing" of the Rover. These colors are meant to help you find Rovers you haven't downloaded from yet (pink and red) and Rovers that are finished (green). If you look in Tools -> Preferences -> Timing, you'll see the Timing Categories (...

Re: adding a search engine
There's currently no way for users to add their own site definitions, but that feature is planned for the future. We've already integrated the new database design that would allow us to store user authored definitions. Now we just have to build to mechanism to do it. Please be patient. We'll get aro...

Re: bug?
Single (once) Rovers are pretty simple, but when you get into daily or weekly Rovers, there's a bit more going on. Let me try to explain. The architecture of the app is "Rover contains Search(es), Search(es) contain Torrents". When you do a single (once) search, you don't even see the Search part be...

Re: search engines/sites
Make sure you can connect to the other search engines from your country and ISP. Try to go to these sites: http://www.thepiratebay.se http://www.kickass.to If you have any trouble connecting to these sites, you may want to try the Proxy option (to get around the block) in Preferences -> Advanced -> ...
