Associating utorrent did get rid of the pop-up windows so that means that it weren't them windows that were stopping the downloads ...

Thanks for that John, kickass.mx works well, its just anoying that the program tells the user the download has failed but can't tell itself that the count should not be reduced for a failed download. Still it's a handy app even with this bug so many thanks:-)

latest version (1.07) and most of 3 strikes versions have a bug; if a download fails it counts towards your 3 free downloads. this is especially anoying as bitsnoop never works and it's about the only tracker that finds stuff now that kickass is dead as fried chicken.
