Re: Torrent filled with malware
Yes, I had to use malwarebytes plus roguekiller plus adaware (that's actually the best, try that next time) plus cccleaner.
It was a tough one!
thanks for everything!

Re: Torrent filled with malware
I guess somebody caught it, the torrent doesn't exist anymore. Meanwhile I am still trying to get rid of it's aftereffects! I knew you couldn't test them, but I thought the verification came from your users, but I understand. It would be nice though if there was a way a user could put a warning on o...

Re: Torrent filled with malware
-The problem with scanning a file is many of these 'cracks' are identified as bad but aren't really, it's tough to tell. -Aren't the check marks for verified put in by torrent rover? -A nice improvement would be for a torrent rover user to be able to flag a bad torrent, thats what I was trying to do...

Torrent filled with malware
I did a search for lightroom 7.5. There is a verified download from kick ass torrents by jagbr that I downloaded. It was full of malware and viruses. I went over to kick ass torrents to report it, but it doesn't even exist there. Confused where it came from and why it is verified on torrent rover.

Re: download failed
Came back and tried it again a few hours later, it worked fine. Nothing changed as far as connections, proxy, etc. Not sure why this happened. I even ysed the old search when I started TR.

Re: torrentrover not starting up
Thats funny, in Win 7 if you create a shortcut from an existing icon, then go in to properties and change the shortcut (add the -d) it automatically puts quotes around the entire command, I can't figure out anyway to not have them. So I did create a new shortcut by pasting in the correct command lin...

Re: torrentrover not starting up
I just tried again - ""C:\Program Files (x86)\TorrentRover\" -d" no message box but tr started fine.
Then I changed it to -debug (one dash) with the same results.

Re: torrentrover not starting up
Funny, but I added the id and it worked fine, but the message box never came up. I then also ran it from the original icon, and it worked fine too. Confusing! The computer was not restarted or updated or anything.
